WHO WE ARE
Zach and Dani are a team of movement specialists dedicated to helping unique individuals own their movement potential using a combination of traditional strength training and Functional Range Systems.
OUR METHOD
The RKM Program utilizes Functional Range Systems. Basically, it’s internal strength training for your joints that applies scientific principles to improve your movement potential, mitigate injuries and promote joint longevity and health.
What is Kinstretch? Kinstretch is a movement enhancement system that builds maximum body control, flexibility and usable ranges of motion built entirely around FRS principles.
In our thought process, mobility is the foundation of a training program. The next step is to layer on strength and conditioning. At MoveHow, our S&C programming follows a similar progression as our RKM programs. First we rebuild control over our basic patterns. Then we increase the complexity, and often that involves a heavy dose of unilateral - single leg and single arm - training. Once the body is prepared, we chase heavier weights and advanced bodyweight options.
A training cycle - whether it is mobility, strength or conditioning focused - must focus on progressive adaptations. Brick by brick we build back our joint health, our strength and our cardiovascular health with slow and steady progressions from basic to complex and from complex to heavier loads. The secret? Consistency. Day in and day out we at MoveHow show up, do the work and make progress.
Functional Range Assessments® Stop guessing. FRA is a measurement based assessment system that provides objective measures of an athletes movement capacity for each and every articulation. Then training inputs (FRC®) are able to be directed at the individual’s specific deficits.
Functional Range Conditioning (FRC®) is a system of joint health, and mobility training based in scientific principles and research. Mobility refers to the amount of usable motion that one possesses across a particular articulation (joint). The more mobile a person is, the more they are able to maximize their movement potential safely, efficiently, and effectively.
Kinstretch ®
The Kinstretch system is one born out of scientific research. All of the movements and training techniques have been selected based on a meticulous and rigorous investigation of evidence, conducted by physical conditioning and medical experts, as it pertains to body control, injury prevention, joint health, and physical longevity.
